C.E.O. Walter Dlugosh in front of 4th Branch location

One of Manitoba’s  remaining closed bond Credit Unions and Western Canada’s largest Ukrainian Financial Institution has secured a fourth site for it’s location in Winnipeg. The location is situated on the north east corner of Grant and Waverly, in a prominent area of River Heights.

“It is a different area of the city that we have traditionally serviced, but our membership has been asking for representation in the southern part of the city” Walter Dlugosh, CEO of Carpathia Credit Union stated.

“Not only will Carpathia Credit Union be meeting the needs of its members, who have relocated to the southern area of the city but it will provide an option to those households that have yet to experience the credit union difference” Dlugosh added.

Over the past number of years Carpathia Credit Union has experienced excellent growth with total assets over $300 million and for the last two consecutive years’s one of Manitoba’s 50 fastest growing companies according to Manitoba Business magazine. With a new branch located in the south part of the city members and associates can anticipate a new 6 day a week  branch with a fresh new look that appeals to its surroundings yet standing firm on its values and core services that our staff continually provide on a daily basis.

It is anticipated that construction on the new branch will be competed by the summer of 2012.
