MARKETING & COMMUNITY RELATIONS COORDINATOR - Corporate Head Office

The Marketing & Community Relations Coordinator provides marketing, planning, event coordination, community relations and administrative support including acting as liaison with all community contacts and businesses and representing the credit union through participation in sponsored events.

As the ideal candidate you have the following educational, experiential, and practical skills…
• a Marketing and/or Communications degree or diploma from a recognized university or college—preferably with an additional one to three years of related marketing, promotion, public relations and/or communication strategizing experience (applicants with a combination of less education but more related experience may also be considered);
• basic familiarity with sales skills;
• an understanding of financial institution legislation, policies and procedures;
• awareness of credit union philosophies and principles;
• working knowledge of credit union technology and general office equipment;
• fluent PC skills... Web & desktop publishing software skills would be considered an asset;
• excellent interpersonal and outstanding written/oral communication skills;
• proven ability to take initiative, manage change, make decisions, effectively problem solve, and manage time sensitive projects and deadlines;
• demonstrated innovation, creativity, strategic thinking and planning;
• developed oral and written bilingual skills (English & Ukrainian languages) preferred.

MEMBER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE

• Provide prompt, efficient, accurate, and courteous service and information to members for their immediate and future financial needs
• Successful candidate must be motivated, self-starter, with strong member service/sales skills and administrative skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team Player with a drive for accuracy, thoroughness and results
• Demonstrated Mathematical Abilities/computer literate
• Knowledge of Credit Union Banking System (CUBS), services and core products preferred
• Experience in a related position as a Teller / MSR would be beneficial
• Knowledge of Ukrainian Language preferable
