Community Support Program
2009 CARPATHIA SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS
The Carpathia Credit Union Scholarship is awarded annually to graduating grade 12
students based on their high academic standing and noteworthy participation in extracurricular
activities in school, the Ukrainian community, and community at large.
This year, these six most deserving members were awarded scholarships:

Orest Suchy (Garden City Collegiate),
enrolled at the University of Manitoba. Orest plans on pursuing a career in Law. |

Christa Woloschiniwsky (St. Mary's Academy),
enrolled at the University of Manitoba. Christa plans to study Ukrainian language and history and ultimately pursue a career in Medicine or the Environment. |

Steven Baluta (St. Paul's High School), enrolled
at the University of Manitoba. Steven plans to get his Masters Degree in the sciences and pursue a career in Business or Finance. |

Antony Maluzynsky (Miles MacDonell Collegiate),
enrolled at the University of Manitoba. Antony plans to study Ukrainian language, attend the I.H. Asper School of Business, attain a Masters Degree,
and ultimately start his own business. |

Andrianna Kulyk (Garden City Collegiate),
enrolled at the University of Winnipeg in the Faculty of Science. Andrianna plans on pursuing a career in Medical Research or Medicine.. |

Jay Korban (Mennonite Brethren Collegiate),
enrolled at the University of Winnipeg. Jay plans on pursuing a career as a K-8 teacher. |
We wish Iyvan, Ariadna, Ivanna, Shantel, Paul, and Alanna continued success and
the best of luck in their studies and future endeavours.
