English Ukranian Bilingual Program
Carpathia Credit Union is a full-service financial institution serving the needs of Manitoba's Ukrainian Community. We are the third largest Ukrainian credit union in Canada and the largest outside of Ontario. In 1992, Carpathia introduced a support program for schools offering the English-Ukrainian Bilingual Program (EUBP). This support enables schools to enhance components of their Ukrainian Bilingual Curriculum.
Purpose
To support school programs that will enhance the various components of the Ukrainian Bilingual curricula in areas such as computer communications, language and writing skills development programs.
Support
This Fiscal Year Carpathia Credit Union is please to provide those schools providing an English-Ukrainian component in their curriculum with the following enrolment formula

Application
- Considerations will be given to schools offering EUBP during the usual academic school year from September to June.
- Only one application per year per EUBP school will be considered.

Deadline
- Considerations will be given to English-Ukrainian Bilingual Programs offered during the normal school year September to June.
Eligibility Criteria
- The EUBP school's Parents Committee must maintain an active Carpathia Credit Union account.
- Schools applying to this program must maintain a minimum EUBP registration level.
- Schools applying for funding must have EUBP curriculum approved by the Department of Education.
Terms and Conditions
- First half of financial support will be provided after a review of student enrolment.
- The second and final installment –comprised of the remaining 50% – normally will be presented at the school's graduation ceremonies by a Carpathia Credit Union Representative.
Acknowledgment of Support
- Carpathia Credit Union support must be recognized in all school literature pertinent to the EUBP program. Please contact the marketing department for logo.
- Notice as to graduation ceremonies to be provided by the school and provide Carpathia Credit Union with an opportunity to make a presentation at the school's graduation ceremony.
- The school will provide proof of acknowledgement.
Additional Support Available
- In addition to annual donations, Carpathia Credit Union assists all English-Ukrainian Bilingual Schools throughout the year. Promotional merchandise may be provided for fundraising events.
