Marketing and Communications Coordinator Expand/Collapse

Role Overview: Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is a key role within the Marketing area of the Credit Union. This role will create and facilitate all areas of digital marketing, creative content, and community events and media distribution.


  • Create content and maintain social media channels along with external communications through various channels reflecting current product and service offerings
  • Create and oversee content calendar along with various functions and branch activities
  • Coordinate and maintain email marketing, marketing systems and digital communications
  • Maintain website and coordinate plans for campaigns and launches
  • Develop strong relationships with Carpathia’s partners, suppliers vendors and community groups
  • Responsible for balancing and spending of departmental/organizational marketing budgets
  • Evaluate and analyze social media tactics initiatives, monitoring trends
  • Be responsible for preparation of all external media, newsletter, email promotions which would include events
  • Prepare digital marketing reports
  • Ensure all initiatives are consistent with legislative requirements
  • Understand support and promote the credit unions products, services, and standards
  • Maintain an inventory and suggestions for promotional materials
  • Act as a resource for the Chief Marketing Officer and at times the Board of Directors

Education and Experience

This position requires the completion of post-secondary education in Marketing or Digital Marketing plus three to six years of experience, or a combination of education and experience.

We are accepting applications for both full time and casual (part time) positions. Casual employees will be available Monday through Saturday for 7 to 14 hours a week. Please state your preference and availability in your cover letter.
